Let's be candid: HD is really, really proud of their bike. It's double the cost of a metric from across the Pacific. In a lot of ways, buying an HD is about buying into the "lifestyle" and the privilege of buying all their branded goods. Let me know your thoughts...and no comments like "You'll shoot your eye out" or "You'll end up dead." I won't die on a motorcycle - I'll meet my maker doing something stupid like walking across the street with a green light.

This made me a little sad today. Vonnegut was the first author I read that dealt with something other than space ships. He helped me form some of my societal and political opinions...though I think he did that for a lot of people.
